Developed in collaboration with Triple Eight Race Engineering, the Ford Mustang Dark Horse with T8-Spec Pack¹ brings Australian racing expertise to Ford’s legendary performance coupe.

It takes the already track-focused Mustang Dark Horse and pushes it further with upgraded suspension, track-ready tyres, sharper aerodynamics and unmistakable Triple Eight details.

Ford meets Triple Eight

Triple Eight Race Engineering is one of Australia’s most successful racing teams and the home of Red Bull Ampol Racing.

Working together, Ford and Triple Eight have created a special-edition package designed to enhance the Dark Horse’s capability on the track while giving it a distinct identity everywhere else.

Under the bonnet sits Ford’s 5.0-litre V8, producing 350kW and 550Nm when using 98 RON fuel. It is paired exclusively with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission featuring rev matching.

Three pedals. Eight cylinders. No mistaking what this Mustang was made for.

Tuned for precision

The T8-Spec Pack goes beyond appearance.

Updated front dampers receive a unique MagneRide® tune and adjustable top mounts, while stiffer springs are fitted at all four corners. A stiffer rear roll bar and reduced-travel steering rack help create a more direct and responsive driving experience.

Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tyres wrap around staggered 19-inch alloy wheels, measuring 10.5 inches wide at the front and 11 inches at the rear.

The package also includes a performance rear spoiler and an updated front aero splitter², designed to optimise aerodynamics during track use

Finished in exclusive Avalanche Prestige Paint, the Mustang Dark Horse T8-Spec has a presence that is difficult to miss.

Grabber Blue accents feature across the exterior, including the gurney flap on the performance rear spoiler and the Triple Eight badge. Triple Eight bonnet decals, a black roof and Notorious Blue Brembo™ brakes complete the racing-inspired look.

Inside, Recaro® sports seats help hold you in place when the road starts to turn. Bespoke scuff plates, a Triple Eight-branded manual shift knob and a unique build plate make it clear this is no ordinary Dark Horse.

Every detail serves as a reminder of where this Mustang comes from: the racetrack.

The Mustang Dark Horse T8-Spec Pack is available in strictly limited numbers and can only be added to a 2026.00MY Mustang Dark Horse with the six-speed manual transmission.
