It Takes You and a Ranger – Melbourne Cup Day Giveaway

Ovens Ford is proud to once again partner with the Wangaratta Turf Club for the Melbourne Cup Day Races and the EDGE & Star FM Secret Garden Marquee on Tuesday 4 November 2025. To celebrate, we’re giving one lucky winner two tickets to this adults-only marquee experience — complete with welcome cocktails, gourmet food, drinks, and live entertainment on the home straight.

We want to hear the stories that prove it really does take you and a Ranger. Whether it’s a weekend adventure, a workday challenge, or a memorable journey, share what your Ranger means to you for your chance to win. Entries open 6:00 pm Wednesday 29 October and close 11:59 pm Sunday 2 November 2025. The winner will be announced on Monday 3 November via the Ovens Ford Facebook and Instagram pages, with thanks to our partners at EDGE 102.1 and Star FM 92.1.

2. Eligibility: Open to Victorian residents aged 18+. Employees of Ovens Ford, the Value Auto Group, and their immediate families are ineligible.

3. Competition Period: Opens 6:00 pm AEDT 29/10/2025 and closes 11:59 pm AEDT 2/11/2025. Entries outside this period are invalid.

4. How to Enter: Complete the entry form and answer “Tell us about a memorable moment or adventure you’ve had with your Ranger.” Optional photo upload. One entry per person.

5. Prize: One winner receives two (2) tickets to the EDGE & Star FM Secret Garden Marquee at the Wangaratta Turf Club on 4/11/2025. Includes 1-hour cocktail welcome (from 12 noon), 3-hour food & beverage package, general race-day entry, and live entertainment. Total value approx. $500 AUD. Not transferable or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection: Judged by Ovens Ford on creativity and relevance. Judging 10:00 am AEDT 3/11/2025 at 62-66 Parfitt Road, Wangaratta. Winner notified by phone/email and announced on Ovens Ford Facebook and Instagram on 3/11/2025.

7. Conditions: Prize must be used on the event date. Winner and guest must be 18+. Event entry subject to Wangaratta Turf Club terms. Promoter is not responsible for cancellations, transport, accommodation, or other costs.

8. Rights & Permissions: By entering, participants grant Ovens Ford the right to publish their first name, suburb, and story (and photo if supplied) on its website, social media, and marketing without further compensation.
